  This is a story of dental challenge and subsequent triumph. Picture this: front tooth breaks at gum line while at restaurant on a Saturday night. And I’m leaving town on Sunday ten days hence! Disaster! Now starts the involvement of two general dentists, two endodontists, a facial surgeon and a dentist specializing in implants. The first general dentist outlined the two not very optimistic possibilities: root, post and crown or extraction and extended prep for implant. Then after the implant specialist couldn’t see me until after I returned from my trip, I got two other recommendations from my facial surgeon Dr. Tsvetov (with whom I had an unrelated procedure during all this). I picked Temecula’s Dr. Rick Lindley and that’s where my luck changed dramatically. He took charge and worked heroically to get me out of town with a temporary front tooth. He installed a temporary post (which the first endodontist failed to do) and good temporary and then sent me on short notice to Murrieta’s Dr. Pettersen, a second endodontist, for a permanent post and a durable temporary. I left town with a sturdy and lifelike front tooth. I returned to Dr. Lindley a week later after my trip for the new replacement tooth he had prepared.
